Hello friends, welcome to Anupma’s kitchen. Here we are going to make Rabri in three easiest methods.
Plain and simple Rabri recipe
- 1.5 liter – full cream milk
- 75 gm – Sugar
- 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
- Sliced dry fruits for garnishing
It is a super yummy and super easy rabri to make. Let’s start the process of making rabri. Add milk in a pan first and heat. Keep stirring so that it doesn’t stick.
Put the gas on medium when it starts boiling. Stir after every 1-2 minutes. Stir the cream aside. You can make it on full gas too. Keep stirring; otherwise, the milk might burn.
When the milk is half, its color will also change. Keep pushing the cream aside. Keep stirring, or it might burn and spoil the taste of the recipe. Always keep patience while making this recipe.
The wait is long, but the taste is worth it. After some time, the milk will be thick and is relatively less. The cream will give a pleasant taste to it. Scratch the cream from the sides.
The milk will be boiling and thick. We have to keep it thick only. After cooling, it will become thicker. Add one teaspoon cardamom powder and 75-gram sugar, and mix properly.
The rabri is ready. The cream has formed pieces. Let it cool. When the rabri cools down, garnish it with pistachios, almonds, and saffron. The tasty and creamy rabri is ready to serve.
Mango rabri recipe
- 1 liter – milk
- 4-5 tbsp – sugar
- The pulp of 2 mangoes
- 1/4 cup – fresh cream
Here we are going to learn a delicious sweet dish that is Mango Rabdi. For that, we will keep 1-liter milk for reducing. When the milk has decreased more than half of its quantity, add 4-5 tbsp sugar in it.
You can add only 3 tbsp as we are going to add mango pulp in it. Hence, we can add lesser sugar. Once you add sugar, the milk’s consistency starts getting thinner again, so we have to reduce it for 2-3 mins.
Our rabdi is almost ready. Let’s keep it aside for cooling. After the mixture cools down and has come to room temperature, we will add the pulp of 2 mangoes.
After mixing it nicely, we are going to add 1\4th cup fresh cream as well. Our Mango Rabdi is ready. Let’s remove it in a serving bowl and garnish it. If you have dried rose petals, we can use it for garnishing.
As we have thin slices of mango here, we will use them for garnishing. You can eat it chilled, or you can eat it as it is. It tastes better when it is cold. So, try this recipe and also share it with your friends.
Fruit Rabri recipe
- Milk – 1 liter
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Cardamom powder – 2 pinch
- Pomegranate – ½ cup
- Orange(pieces) – ¼ cup
- Apple(pieces) – ½ cup
- Pineapple(pieces) – ¼ cup
Here we are going to make a dessert recipe fruit rabri. It is effortless to make, very rich, very tasty, and you will all love this.
We eat rabri only the simple rabri but have you ever tried adding fruit into it and making a fruit rabri. If you have not made it make it, you will love it.
We always try to make only custard with fruits, but we never tried different variations. So here we’re going to make a variation with rabri and excellent fruit rabri.
You can use any fruit which is available in your fridge. Here we are going to use pineapple, oranges, pomegranate, and some apple. You can also use banana into this, and you can make an excellent rabri.
So to make the rabri, first, we will take one liter of milk and reduce it. We will boil it until it comes to half. You know malai in this that the cream which we get it when we boil the milk.
You will observe that it is nice and thick. We don’t want this to be too thick or too thin. Now we’re going to add sugar into this. Once this reduces into half a liter, you can add the sugar.
Also, you can add as per sweetness. It will become slightly thin because we added the sugar. We will heat it again for another five minutes till this becomes thick.
Meantime what we’re going to do is we’re going to take some pomegranate in a bowl and add some orange to it. You can roughly break it into pieces, remove the skin and the seeds.
Also, in this, we’re going to add some apples. If you’re cutting before, Apple always needs to put in sugar water or regular water and let it sit for some time. In the last, we’re going to add the apples.
By the time, you also observe that the rabri is becoming further nice and thick. It would be best if you never went away from your stove friends. It would be best if you kept on mixing it, and you will get the thick rabri.
You can observe the layers of the cream forming and observe it’s not too thick and not thin. We want this consistency. Add the pineapple and the apple to the mixture of pomegranate and orange.
Also, add some apple cuttings in it. Now to the rabri pan, we’re going to add some cardamom powder for flavoring. Mix this again. After cooling it, we will put it in the refrigerator for at least 30 to 40 minutes.
It should be nice and chilled. Then it would be best if you served this. You will enjoy it thoroughly. Now we will switch off the flame, and we will transfer it into a bowl, and we’re going to put this in the refrigerator.
Once this is nice and chill, we’re going to mix both the fruit and the rabri and have it chilled. Now we’re going to put this rabri on top of our fruits. You can observe initially it was thin now if you see it’s nice and thick.
Mix it a little bit, and this will taste amazing. If you want, you can add a little bit less fruit. So here is a simple fruit rabri. If you want, you can add some dry fruits also to it.
With just one liter of milk, you can see how much quantity you got, which at least four to five people can have. We’re not going to serve them too much.
We can take a little bit in a clay pot for each person, and you can freeze it and then serve.
